Surfers at Bicheno catching a wave
Today’s shot was taken the same night as yesterday’s shot of the Tasman Bridge and as you can see has more glorious reflections.
While you can’t tell from the photo, there is a strong current in this part of the river to the point that i could see it flowing by.
Monday night was a beautiful autumn night, cool but without a breath of air to disturb the water of the Derwent River and so i took the opportunity to take this shot. This morning with another lot of fog you would have been lucky to see the bridge from where this photo was taken.
A couple of tourists get close to the blowhole at Bicheno. They were lucky not to get an unscheduled shower of cold salt water!
At last i can reveal the truth of how the rebels managed to overcome the might of the Imperial Forces, the Storm Troopers were busy playing video games at the Tasmanian Sci Fi Convention last weekend.
