Sea, Sand and Sky

Today’s shot is from the Bay of Fires area at Eddystone Point. The water is a wonderful blue colour and the sand white and pure. As you can see when i was there the weather was not the best but i will go back one day on a good summers day!

Toll House

When founded New Norfolk was dependent mostly on river transport with supplies coming up from Hobart by barges and produce heading down river to Hobart. For the population rowboats and punts were used to cross the river. As development took place the government placed a ferry for operation for the town.
