Today’s photo, another shot of the penitentiary at Port Arthur. Still looking for my missing photo card too Tweet This Post 

I am not sure of the purpose of this post sticking up in the beach at Spikey Beach. Definitely a mystery as i would not think anyone would be bringng a boat in to this beach as it appears there are a number of rocks out in the water off the beach.

I am continuing my Port Arthur theme with today’s shot of the Prison Hospital. Like the Penitentiary the hospital is now ruins, i believe in the same bushfire in 1897. It stands on the hill above the Penitentiary with a wonderful view but somehow i just don’t think the patients were looking at the view.

Port Arthur is a great place but one of the places so many people miss is Palmers Lookout five minutes drive from the site and it doesn’t even cost anything.

The Soluna docked in St Helens. I took the photo because the Red of the boat stood out so much compared to its surroundings.
