Stormy Weather at the Blowhole

Thanks to stormy weather brought about by an intense low pressure system there were big waves around and it was exciting watching the blowhole blowing at Bicheno. Lucky i got the phone call so i could make a dash up the coast to see the excitement!

The last two days i have focused on the Marina Cvetaeva sailing from Hobart and today’s post is the last of the three. Thanks to the heavy rain it quickly disappeared into the rain and the mist as it sailed out of Hobart.

Following on from my post farewell this is what the family braved a most unpleasant day yesterday with gale force winds and drving rain. This is the Russian Icebreaker (or it might just be reinforced?) Marina Cvetaeva sailing for a 27 day cruise around Antarctica. Its first stop 4 days from yesterday at Macquarie Island.

Wonderful Wineglass Bay
