Another shot from the top of Mt Wellington last time i was there looking towards the highest part of the Mountain and where the TV towers are.

Knopwoods Retreat at Night - Salamanca Place Hobart. On popular nights in summer the crowd spills out on to the road. Or it did, with the crack down on licencing laws going on at present that may be a thing of the past when summer comes again.

The footbridge in the picture is needed to get to the beach at high tide at Scamander on the east coast of tasmania

I am not sure what this ruin was, perhaps a house or some other farm building but all it is now is a couple of low walls in a farm paddock on the coast.

It was a typical cold winters day in hobart with the Mountain obscured by cloud although i did see Snow up there at one point during the day. This shot was taken from the domain walking from where i left the car today
