Tasmania Photography

This a shot i took long ago, so long ago in fact that I still used film! (gasp) and was taken from a traffic island in the middle of the night. Its also the latest in my B&W Hobart by Night series

The media was collected outside the executive building where the Premiers office is this morning bouyed by the rumour that Premier Paul Lennon was going to resign today and by late morning The Premier had announced his resignation.

Swimmer at the Mouth of the Scamnder River, Tasmania

This shot is from out of the Hobart area and is of Russell Falls at the Mt Field National Park. I liked the way all the plants formed a screen over the upper parts of the falls.

A foggy saturday morning with fog over the northern suburbs of Hobart, Australia. It might have been more foggy earlier but I slept in and missed it.
Yes, I was standing on the same rock as last time i took a photo from this location.

When i took this shot i was thinking of Terrace Houses that you see, one exactly the same as its neighbors either side. And their neighbors. And so on. Only this time its with the partition and the tables on the veranda of each room at this hotel

These ruins were on a side road in the Coal River Valley near Richmond. Once a house, all that was left was a couple of crumbing walls and around the back a rusted water tank.

The particular sunrise i was at the Bicheno blowhole for it was quite popular with multiple people and their cameras trying to capture the moment!
