Walking up Murray Street towards the CBD i could see some of the sunset ahead and had to share it as it felt like such a contrast to the city itself.

Wise Words, Comedy or Graffiti? I laughed so for me its comedy

These penguins are not so easy to photograph. As they have no eyelids they can not blink and a camera flash can blind them for life. Guides use special frequency lights that don’t damage their eyes but low light combined with only a hand held camera makes a good picture hard to find.

This is from Port Arthur and is one of Australia’s Premier attractions and an interesting place to visit unlike when it was a Penitentiary where it was a dark place to visit.

Not really on the East Coast so much as on the way to the East coast of Tasmania is St John The Baptist Church at Buckland Tasmania

Continuing my recent theme of Hobart By Night in Black and White is this laundrette that caught my attention in North Hobart.

While not strictly within the Hobart area this time exposure shot is one that i was quite happty with. It was shot at 1/5 of a second to produce the white effect of the water with the wave coming in.
