I had trouble deciding which picture should be posted for the Christmas Day photo of the day ….

The inside of St Lukes Church at Richmond, near Hobart decorated for Christmas (taken yesterday) or ….

Or St Davids Cathedral as  the service was ending and the worshipers shaking hands as they left.
Someones Christmas is not so good [...]

It was peak hour at Elizabeth Wharf as first the Lady Nelson (right) and then Windward Bound (left) left for a cruise on the Derwent

Now replaced by a new Bridge, this is the old one which i find so much grander at Scamander, north of Bicheno

From the Highway there are the most incredible views like this one. I think if i stopped and photographed every one of them hen i would be traveling for 2 weeks rather than 2 hours!

Once upon a time this nut and bolt along with the rest helped secure a cannon intended to defend Hobart from attack. The gun is long gone and its just slowly rusting away

Probably one of the most famous shots from anywhere in Tasmania as it is always appearing on brochures, its the Richmond Bridge. Built by convicts in 1823, it is now Australia’s oldest Bridge
